Don't worry lads, try not to get too down. It's a marathon, not a sprint. It's not even December yet. We've got the money to correct things in January. We've given the lads who got us here a fair crack, one they deserved. They're showing they aren't up to it. We'll correct it in January. It's never over til it's over. Please see Palace and Sunderland last season, as causes for optimism. Final thing: Please ignore the Dramas who will come over here on the wind-up. They only want a reaction. I see Queens has started already, no doubt Grifter and 'Arrys best mate will be over soon too Let them have their moment in the sun, but don't rise to the bait. I'm off for the night, there's things more important than footy after all. Keep the faith!!!!
Frustrating, but I'd rather we be losing games 3-2 than 2-0. We at least put the effort in, and now the goal duck's broken there may be a little more optimism. Liverpool at home next- the players should be fired up for that one. QPR probably were just about the better side, though I think a draw would have been a fair result.
Not quite sure how we actually lost that game ... we scored the better goals and had the better chances ..... but ... Why oh why did we take Ulloa off for Nugent ... only to then have to push Big Wes up front? ... Leo would have thrived on the crosses that we managed after he had gone off ... Wellernever was on the money today regarding his comments on team selection ... Rob Green commended his six yard box, Kasper flapped and we conceded all 3 goals from comedic defending in that area ... Best player for us today ... Jeff Schlupp ...
I didn't understand the subs for the life of me Bring on Albrighton, loves to put a cross in the box, perfect for Ulloa Take Ulloa off????
Agree with you there, his goal is certainly our goal of the month- tough competition, I know... Had the beating of Isla all day, but, I also can't understanding the reasoning behind bringing on Nugent, especially with Albrighton, who put in some good crosses, which we all know Nugent won't be able to get on the end of. Should have brought Chris Wood on instead.
We haven't got a chance, yes the goal duck is over but today just went to show it's no good scoring if the defence is poor. We will never score more than we concede which is why we will be back in the championship come August
We looked quite good going forward particularly first half ... Wes's own goal was the first time the Dramas actually had a shot on target... you could argue that we were unlucky but actually it comes down to very poor defending ... any teams watching us must know that if you ping the ball into our six yard box Kasper is unlikely to come for it and if the lottery goes your way (which it did twice today for the Dramas) you might just nick a goal ...
I watched the game ... did you? ... an own goal and two scrambled efforts versus a great strike and a well worked move ... Rob Green then made a terrific save one on one with Vardy and Vardy also missed two other very good chances (i.e from Cambiasso's quick free kick) ... you had more attempts at goal yes (Joey must have put at least 4 shots high and wide) but they were not as good ... I'm not complaining about losing ... if you defend like we did you won't win ... but I stand by the comments I made ...
You had 32 goal attempts 6 on target ... we had 19 with 5 on target ... given that 3 of your six were the goals and that Vardy also hit the bar with his flicked header I'm happy that the stats support my original contention that we had the better chances and scored the better goals ... mind you my blinkers are beginning to hurt
Ha clutching at straws with that one. Going to be a tough season for both teams but when I look at your team and think if you did get relegated and we stay up is their anyone i'd like Rangers to buy, the answer is no. Your literally the only team in the league where that's the case
