Sol Bamba and John Pantsil return from the african cup of nations and both are available, Danny Drinkwater, Liam Moore and Conrad Logan are cup tied. Now Aston Villa have been knocked out Nathan Delfouneso can now play for us. Nigel has said he will make some changes. Chris Weale has returned from his loan spell at Northampton but he is injured so Adam Smith will be on the bench. So here is what i think the team will be

    Schmeichel

    St. Ledger
    Morgan
    Bamba
    Konchesky

    Marshall
    Wellens
    Danns
    Gallagher

    Nugent
    Beckford

Subs- Smith, Mills, Peltier, Kennedy, Dyer, Delfouneso, Howard

Gallagher is injured according to Radio Leicester.

Surely Wes Morgan is cup tied?

I almost forgot about Delfouneso. I wonder why Pearson has been opting for Howard ahead of him to come on as a sub...

Nigel has said tonight Gallagher is out but Delfouneso is available

So i would put Lloyd Dyer down the left with one of the academy players on the bench

Nigel said he wouldn't be afraid to ring the changes, but I don't think he has many options to do so. I can definitely see Bamba coming back in because he was excellent during the ACON and we seemed to miss his physical presence at the back when faced with a big strong striker like Iwelumo or like Holt. That's one thing you don't get from SSL and Mills. I can see Sean going to right-back where he did well last match and Sol coming in for Morgan because he wasn't great when he came on and I feel Nigel will be more reluctant to drop his captain than an ordinary player. Also, I still think Mills and Bamba is our best pairing.

After that, our hands are tied slightly with injuries and what not. The only question would be Dyer or Delfounseo.

    Schmeichel

    St Ledger
    Mills (C)
    Bamba
    Konchesky

    Marshall
    Wellens
    Danns
    Dyer

    Beckford
    Nugent

Subs: Smith, Morgan, Peltier, Kennedy, Delfounseo, Hopper, Howard.

    what about 3-5-2?

It worked well against Palace away and would accommodate Bamba and St Ledger.

As I have stated in many threads, I think 3-5-2 is the way we should play.

    Schmeichal
    Peltier Mills Morgan Konchesky
    Marshall Wellens Bamba Delfouneso
    Nugent Beckford

Bench: Logan St Ledger Kennedy Danns Dyer Howard Hopper.

Our squad is so small it took me ten minutes of brain power to think of a 7th sub, and that was a academy player, because Paul Gallagher, Andy King, Jeffrey Schlupp, Danny Drinkwater and Darius Vassell are all injured.

Peltier had a tough time in the week and was taken off at half time so i think he may make way this week. Sean St. Ledger might go right back.

It will be a shame for Pelts though as him and a few Norwich players are best mates
