Jamie Vardy is suspended but apart from that there is no other injuries. So here is what I would go with Schmeichel Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Kante Drinkwater Schlupp Okazaki Ulloa Subs- Schwarzer, Amartey, Wasilewski, Chilwell, King, Gray, Albrighton
Have to agree Proud. Same again.... Hope we get a draw and then finish the job at home the weekend after in front of our own fans. Ok now I'm getting greedy.
... that starting line-up from Sunday would have deserved to have started this game even if Vards had been available tbf ... business as usual ... and that is all.
I think it would be an anti climax if we won the title without playing (ie Monday night) That said, do I care? Do I hell lol Hope Leo is fit after his back complaint.
Think Schlupp could be a good shout in this game for his defensive covering, will outrun Lingaard all day.
We will do what we have all season with Okazaki going off after an hour and bringing on either Albrighton or Gray
I think the likes of Danny Drinkwater, Danny Simpson, Kasper Schmeichel, Matty James and Ritchie De Laet all dreamed of winning a Premier League title at Old Trafford but never in a million years thought it would be in these circumstances
... really want us to put it to bed here ... United are very dangerous in that they have excellent young forwards ... but also vulnerable at the back ...
I think we should just go for it. We could be tempted to play defensively as a point is still very valuable against a United team in decent form, but the players are brimming with confidence and I think if we continue to attack, even if it doesn't come off here, it should do against Everton. We don't want heads to fall. Personally I'd love a 3-2 win here, but that may be greedy, and we may have to bide our time for a bit.
In 1969 we got relegated after losing the final game of the season at Old Trafford 3-2 (Graham Cross allegedly clocked Allan Clarke one in the dressing room after the match for not trying). Would be nice to secure the title there on Sunday.
Allan Clarke, was a big headed tosser who thought he was to good for us, also heard that Andy Lochead belted him as well! Schlupp should play and would go for a 3-1 win
I'd take a Smalling o.g. 1-0 at this point. As long as it matches the Spurs result i don't mind, its not like we ever play to achieve our goals ...
