Matt Upson is now close to making his first team debut, Kasper Schmeichel is out injured. Esteban Cambiasso and Dean Hammond are fit to return but Matty James is still suspended. No other injury concerns. So this is what I would go with

    Hamer

    Simpson
    Wasilewski
    Morgan
    De Laet

    Albrighton
    Cambiasso
    Drinkwater
    Schlupp

    Kramaric

    Ulloa

Subs- Schwarzer, Moore, Konchesky, Knockaert, King, Nugent, Vardy

Albrighton must be in for a shout. Yeah, hard to change your choice PF but I think NP may though.
Win, lose or draw this one I just hope we carry on from the Spurs game. If we get at um we may just come away with something.

With it being Old Trafford will he give a nod to experience in Schwarzer? Any news on how bad Moores injury is?

.. wouldn't be surprised to see Vardy start ... United looked woefully vulnerable to pace against Cambridge ... could see Vardy right and Schlupp left again to exploit that ...

Prouds team, although i agree with Fosse, he'll take pace while we have the big man on, and probably sub off Ulloa before Albrighton comes on <doh>

I'd agree with that, Ed. Hammond has been our best holding midfielder all season and does protect our 2 centre halves. The concern I have is that we only have 4 in midfield unless Kramaric can carry out defensive duties. I think we have to go high tempo in this game in order to stop them playing. That will mean defending from the front and closing down quickly all over the pitch. And no presents from the defence!

I agree wholeheartedly with your side, but would expect Konchesky to replace De Laet and Knockaert to replace Albrighton. I don't know what he's done to offend Pearson, but Albrighton should really be starting. Also wouldn't be surprised if Hammond plays instead of Cambiasso and Nugent instead of Kramaric.

... if Nigel starts Nuge instead of Kramaric I'll personally extract his spleen with a blunt spoon ...

Riyad Mahrez might be back in time for the Man U game but I don't he will be involved if he is back in time. Here's what outcomes of their game tomorrow

If Algeria win they are through

If Algeria draw with Senegal and Ghana avoid defeat to South Africa then Algeria are out

If Algeria draw and South Africa win by 3 goals or less then Algeria are through

If Algeria draw and South Africa win by at least 4 goals then Algeria are out

If Algeria lose they are out

Going pretty well so far, obligatory bollocks decision going against us and error by Morgan resulting in an own goal, but we COULD still win this 5-3. Cambiasso or Hammond on at half-time methinks. Man Utd do deserve to be ahead, we've been woeful.

... getting spanked ... United's pace and movement proving difficult to cope with ... think we might have to be satisfied with a draw now <whistle>

Woeful is being very kind! and again NP persists with Vardy and King infront of Albrighton and Hammond.

Yeah I just don't get this, perhaps they're the ones who haven't boned his daughter, I don't know. No other manager would persist with players who simply aren't good enough.

Drinkwater and King must have touched the ball about 5 times between them in the first half, yet they're both still on the pitch! Bringing Albrighton on for Ulloa again? Seriously?!

... better second half ... bizarre substitutions in terms of taking off both central strikers to bring on a player whose strength is providing chances to the central strikers <doh> ... United deserved it ... just a shame that van Persie was a yard offside for the opener and we were a little unfortunate with the others - Schwarzer spilled Di Maria's effort giving Falcao a tap in and Wes managing another OG ...

... other results mean damage limited ... but the real fight starts now ... Palace a must win.
