Matty James is getting closer as is Danny Drinkwater. Jeff Schlupp is out for another month but apart from that everyone else is fit. So here is what I would go with Schmeichel Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Albrighton Inler Kante Dyer Mahrez Vardy Subs- Schwarzer, De Laet, Wasilewski, King, Okazaki, Ulloa, Kramaric
Interesting you have dropped King, care to elaborate? We have seen nothing of Inler so it cant be that he has done anything so obviously you are not happy with the way King has been going. He doesn't get mentioned too much by the commentators but I think he does a lot of work that doesn't get noticed.Hopefully Drinkwater is fit so I would have him in for King otherwise same side as against Liverpool.
Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez King Kante Albrighton Vardy Ulloa I think ulloas hold up play may be very useful and Inler could have a big role off the bench. Would be great to have schlupp back as a pacey option out wide. If DD is fit, then for me he goes straight back in
.. we missed Schlupp against Clyne yesterday.. he tore him to shreds last season and totally nullified any attacking threat .. King was one of the few that actually played well yesterday tbf ... Albrighton was the worst for me ..gave the ball away too many times to count when we were crying out to get some control.. I'd think about Inler for Okazaki and push Mahrez more advanced
2 games in 3 days. King struggled against Liverpool and to freshen the team bit I would give Inler his chance
... not sure where you get that from Proud ... I thought King did OK? .. Kante was the only one who looked very good ... but Kingy did OK ...
I watched the game on a stream. He didn't impose himself enough on games and I think with 2 games in 3 days its the perfect time for Inler to come in and you can't drop Kante over King
I would go with this. If Drinkwater is not 100% fit, then I would play Inler. Vardy has a fever, if he doesn't recover in time, play Ulloa.
... haven't seen ANYBODY mention dropping Kante? ... I watched the game on a stream too .. we obviously saw different things ... King had little chance of imposing himself because we rarely kept the ball in possession .. that wasn't King's fault he rarely gave it away ... Albrighton, Okazaki and even Mahrez, by contrast, did ... hard to impose when you don't have the ball ...
I know I'm saying as its 2 games in 3 days and then we play again on Saturday we need to keep the team fresh by making a few changes Bring in Gokhan Inler is hardly a bad move to make. King's performance didn't guarantee himself a shirt for the next game so thats why he is missing out
Fair enough, we are a little light on alternatives so Inler may be a good shout. I just hope there aren't mass changes because we lost one game. Some people saying Kramaric hasn't been given a fair chance and should be starting. I would have thought this is because he hasn't impressed enough during training to warrant a start
Scmeichel De Laet Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez King Kante Albrighton Ulloa Okazaki I'd give Vardy a breather, on the bench. The way he plays he can't keep going like he is. Bournemouth next Saturday, so I'd let him gather some energy for a game where we should really expect the win at full strength. Time to trust some of the fringe players soon, Kramaric, Inler, Wasileski, Benalouane should have a go and give some players a rest, they're not robots after all.
Quote from LL "I'd give Vardy a breather." I think he´s got an injury anyway, but Maybe a rest would be a good idea. Rest him & put Ulloa in But I´d keep the DEF the same as v Pool personally. Leicester star confident heading into Man City test: We will bounce back against them. MARC ALBRIGHTON is sure this is not the moment everyone has been waiting for since September. I´m hoping the Liverpool game wasn´t the start either. Fantastic 1st half, but I´m abit worried we could loose our great start to the season in the 2nd half. "PROVE ME WRONG FFS PLEEEEEASE"
Wth a fit Kompany,I'd have been confident enough to get a win but without him at the back we're so jittery I'd snatch your hand off if offered a draw. Teams we really struggle against are really hard working and press the ball as a team, giving our array of luxury players no room to manoeuvre, play effectively on the break with pace out wide with a quality playmaker pulling the strings. Sounds like Leicester to me and too many of our players dont want to put in a similar shift I expect us to start off 4-2-3-1 Hart Sagna Otamendi Mangala Clichy Yaya Fernandinho Sterling Silva DeBruyne Aguero
Just some perspective on this in advance... IF we do lose tomorrow, lets refer to the "New Years Points Prediction" thread... We have already surpassed all of our expectations from a few weeks ago... Let alone our expectations at the beginning of this season
Lose again tomorrow and the rot that everyone under the sun as been claiming is coming could well finally commence. Hope that's not the case. You guys being at the top is a refreshing change.
