One more game , at home against a team who you are duking it out with , and are sh:t on the road , for top spot and you've faced all the teams your going to face . Arsenal looked sh:t today , Man City are hot and cold , ManU are .....lol...... . If there was a year that anything is possible , you're about to enter it .You didn't think you were going to win all the games did you ? Watford , Palace and Leicester for Champions League anyone !
A bit of perspective is required I feel. Yes a bad day at the office for certain and a number of below par performances but let's be fair to them, that was only the 3rd loss in 26 or something league games, so I'm not sure we can be too harsh and seeing comments around like "looked like they couldn't be bothered" really annoys me. One thing they can never be said of our team is not being bothered. Can you imagine the reaction and melt down if we had been thumped 4-0 at Southampton, like the Gunners were, or hammered at home to Liverpool, like Man City did not to long ago. We are top of the table as we approach our final game of 2015, truly incredible in itself. What a game we have coming up on Tuesday v Man City and a glorious opportunity for the players to bounce back with the kind of performance we have become accustomed to seeing this season. Bring it on.
After Watford and Newcastle, Klopp really couldn't afford to lose that one, can't really badmouth the players, a bit of luck here and there and we could have got the draw. The days extra rest will have helped us more than Man City, so hopefully we can get the points tonight.
