Everybody is available, says the Gaffer today. So Kamara has got over his little bout of illness and up for selection. The only thing to say about Hull is that they've only just appointed the Captain's least favourite manager. Jokanovic has a habit of the odd bit of tinkering and he's obviously desperate to get Piazon playing. Also he'll no doubt have an eye on the Ipswich game only a couple of days after this one. But hey, if it 'aint broke don't fix it. ..........................Bettinelli............ ..Fredericks...Kalas....Ream...Odoi.. .........................McDonald.... ..............Cairney............Johansen.. .......Ojo..............Ayite.........Sessegnon...
Good memory, Cottager - how many years does that one go back? I wouldn't say he was my least favourite (Pulis? Possibly) but I certainly wasn't keen when he was linked with us back in the day. I hope you're right with the line up, certainly as far as the defence/Sessegnon playing further forward goes. I suspect Piazon will get another chance to come off the bench, so the most likely change other than Sess moving back for Odoi, is Norwood coming in with fresher legs in midfield. I quite like Norwood, but I'd rather see the McDonald, Cairney, Johansen triumvirate stay together.
I had to look that one up, most impressive. Just shows the real quality we have in the Fulham ranks. I'd stick with the last starting eleven (I feel a bit dumb just using the word eleven, hey ho) also, AK47 on the bench if needed.
I think we'll be unchanged - Slavisa likes to play with pace up front away from home, so I see no reason to change from the Cardiff game. I suspect we'll then see the likes of Fonte & Piazon against Ipswich (I'm hoping those two can get a good partnership going).
The man in the middle today is David Webb. please log in to view this image Nope, I've never heard of him either. He's not a relation to his namesake who played for the Dark Side in the '70s nor to the world famous ref of the same surname. Neither is he a member of the full time cabal of 'elite' refs, so in that sense Mr Webb is still an amateur. Indeed he has never been in charge of a Championship game before today. He hails from Durham and his only real claim to fame is in being a life long Sunderland fan. For the record, Mr Webb has ref'd 23 lower League games so far this season and handed out a modest 56 yellows and 2 reds.
He hasn't cottoned on that he isn't supposed to be taking throw-ins either, further conformation he is 12 years old. We're 2 - 0 down at the moment and trying to cheer myself up.
