Several injuries (real or diplomatic) mentioned by SO'D in last couple of days so it's obvious we'll have some of the youngsters in. My team is; Lewis Carey Foster, Moloney (if fit) or Carey if he's not, Cunningham, Bryan Adomah or Ajala, Kelly, Reid, Anderson Baldock, Burns
SO'D's choice Heaton Louis Carey Nyatanga Fontaine Cunningham Anderson Reid Kilkenny Bryan Baldock Taylor Subs Lewis Carey Foster Kelly Elliott Adomah Burns Ajala I must admit I'm disappointed that he has not been able to put at least a couple more young uns in the starting eleven and especially that there isn't any young defender who could replace one of the two centre backs. I also wonder if this selection gives any indication of who might be staying and who is going?
I would bet money that Kilkenny is first on the team sheet next season. SO'D tried twice while at Doncaster to sign him from Leeds so obviously sees something that we cannot see. Or perhaps Sean is totally DEAF!
In order for Kilkenny to perform you would need to play with attacking wingbacks, I would have thought, a couple of terry cooper like full backs and a couple of gerry gow type enforcers in the middle to cover mr whingy pants. Wonder if hes found those players and thats how he wants to play mind you we still need 2 CB's
Where o where are the next Gow's, Collier's, Cooper's, Hunter's going to come from because we are going to need fighters with passion to make a quick return. Sorry forgot to add the Merricks, Ritchies, Drysdales, Taintons, Whiteheads etc
Charlton lead the shot count 4-3 but all our 3 have been on target none of theirs so far. lets hope thats not jinxed us
Is this Bobbie Reid's first league start? Because so far he's been very involved which shows he is not intimidated. If it is his first start, then isn't a coincidence that the debut of the GREAT GERRY GOW was also at Charlton on last day of 1968-69 season.
