I replaced the Bournemouth away result with the Burnley away results, as I think they are comparable. Also Hull = Norwich and QPR = Watford. So I'll compare tomorrow result with the away win we got at Hull last season. If it still doesn't add up right, that's because AKCJ as got West Ham as +2, but I believe it's actually +3. By the way Jack, you've summed up by feelings exactly.
... if you substitute the Bournemouth away game for QPR away instead of Burnley .. then you get an even better comparison ... but it's all semantic bollocks anyway tbf ... as Barwell succinctly put it, we are fast becoming analogous with Jimmy Bloomfield's 'entertainers' ... enjoy the football, enjoy the ride .. hopefully our winless streak will be something that we will put behind us sooner rather than much much later ...
I compared Bournemouth and Burnley as smaller clubs and Watford and QPR as big spenders. Of course, comparisons are never going to be 100% accurate, even when comparing the same clubs. Sunderland are much weaker than last season for instance, and who knows what's happened to Chelsea. Overall, I think the league appears to not be as intimidating as last season - or as Mourinho put it, the smaller clubs are signing better players, making it a little more even.
I see this average Arsenal side ripped apart another team who also look set to battle relegation today
