Augustien !! . Allen & Dobbie to play most games with Gower & Britton platooning in front of the defense . I really do think that the team I've stated is the team that with start tomorrow . This is one of the games of the season for me . Were out there three games in , we need 90 odd minutes of sound football to say we can !!

The only real area for debate is whether to start Leon or Joey, I only went for Joey because of his more attacking tendencies, and we need goals.

With Leon we will control a game well, but that's all we will do!! There's not enough cutting edge!! That's no slight on him, it's just how I see it. I would prefer Kemy to sit, allowing a platform for Little Joe to harrass & bite when not in possession, but then to wander at will & link up with Dobbie when we do have. I think Joe has got a fair amount to offer in an attacking sense, if he's alowed to do so.......

If you have a posession retaining midfielder like Leon, and in his last game he made 98% of his passes, why would you drop him. We need someone to do it and Kemy doesn't look like he is a sit deep kind of player. I would be tempted to play Joey instead of Kemy, as I don't think Kemy has produced too much going forward (even though he has played well in his two games).
Also, I really want to see Leon put in a two footed tackle on that **** that is lee cattermole

I think it's just that, unfortunately, we are going to get dicked a bit in midfield if we aren't careful. Joey and Leon will look good knocking the ball around, but Augustien is getting in purely on his size (and performances thus far, granted) alone. Having said that, I quite want to see Allen, Dobbie and Leon in the midfield three now just to see what happens.

I don't think Kemy has really used his size effectively yet, even though he has played well, so I think it would be worth having a look at Joey and Leon together. Having said that, Leon looked like he was blowing out of his ass against Wigan when he came off, so maybe it's the fitness thing that is keeping Brendan from playing them together. If they both get tired, a double change in the centre midfield can be destructive, so thats probably why Kemy has played 90 minutes twice, with Leon and Joey rotating in the other role.

Think you answered it yourself. Lee Cattermole is every reason why we need some physical 'bulk' in the middle!! That's why it's Kemy all the way. Joe can be 'terrier-like' too, so can't see a place for Leon today. But I'm not the manager & he'll probably start. Give the guy a chance (Kemy), he's still 'bedding-in' into the 1st team. Leon might have all the possession stats, granted, but we want to stay in this league, so we need goals. Maybe at home against the teams we should be targetting, it's better to go with Joe & Kemy!! Away & maybe against the 'top' at homes, Leon.....

i agree with your idea there WSAF as he seemed to be busier in attack when he came on last week and i think that is what we need from the off today really get at sunderland and get our goal account off the mark, still think it will be tight with a 1 goal sway to the swans<party><party><party>
