Who's going to be in it at the end of the season? --------------------Lloris----------------------- ---Rafael----Dawson----Nastasic---Baines--- -----Mata----Carrick---Cazorla---Bale-------- ---------------RVP--------Suarez-------------- That would be my team. CB isn't a very strong category this season.

Whenever I've seen him he's played well, hence my perspective. It was a toss up between him & Williams tbh. As for Gerrard, he's played well this season & not missed 1 second of it, so he's shown people (like me) who said he was finished, that we were wrong.
It's all about opinions mate, I could say the same about your Nastasic shout tbh. Oh & the red was thanks to a pair of Geordie rep whore geeks, who took exception to my reminding them of Nolans challenge on Anichebe, when they were preaching from their moral high ground.....
I'd definitely go with Williams. Honestly, he's been average. People slate Luiz but Cahill has been performing equally to him. Gerrard has pinged a few good passes each game. Lampard has had a better season for one, but Carrick for me has been the best CM this season along with Fellaini.
Fair enough on Cahill, as you'll have seen much more of him than me. Lampard spent a spell where he was in & out of the side & for that reason, can't get the nod for a team of the season for me. Carrick has been solid again, but I'd still put Gerrard ahead of him this season.
Lampard was in/out because of injury at the beginning of the season and inflated fixture list. He's been miles better than Gerrard for me this season, but as you say all a matter of opinion.
Mignolet (Sunderland would be down already if it wasn't for him) Zabaleta (only bright spark for City, just shaded Rafael) Williams (it was him or Chico for me, immense) Vertonghen ( very good for a debut season) Baines (speaks for himself but has dropped off a bit) Carrick (behind Van Persie the reason United have the title) Fellaini (Everton would be down a few places without him) Suarez (Liverpool would be in bottom half without him) Mata (call it bias but player of the season for me, consistency never dropped) Bale (took a while to get warmed up but on fire since Dec) Van Persie (title deciding player) Think that's a fair analysis of the season, special mentions to Cazorla, Lukaku, Begovic, Sandro and Torres (just kidding)
Begovic Ivanovic Vertonghen Williams Baines Carrick Fellaini Suarez Mata Bale RVP Seems weird to not have any City players but can't think of anyone who has been consistently brilliant for them this year and Aguero hasn't been as good as RVP, Suarez etc. Fellaini has gone off the boil a little so Lampard would have a case but I opten against so as not to be biased. Gerrard though??? Come on!!!
Hard to argue with that side tbh. Zabaleta is a great shout & I can't believe I forgot him, as he's been top notch this season
Begovic Zabaleta Evans Vertonghen Baines Fellaini Carrick/Gerrard Michu Bale RVP Suarez Want Mata in there but can't fit him in. Gerrard has 9 goals and 12 assists by the way.
