i notice Jacko is whispering sweet nothings about Bradders in the sloppy today. pity he had his arse splintered for 95 mins at tranny. would you start with him or have him on the bench until crewe score. personally i thought young tom played well last autumn retaining top scorer spot at 5 including most of his injury spell. now that pitches are hard again would you give him a go or cameo.

i mention this as jacko was impressed with his 2 goals and assists against wrexham. if this is so why the bh was he not given a cameo at tranny. who should be in the team, bearing in mind we are light up front.

i go 4-4-2 and go at crewe from the off. salopians 5 change at 0 bradders 2 parry 2 and an og att 7044

I guess we'll be seeing a 442 with more of our own squad involved in it. Grandison looked unready last Saturday and will assume he'll be on the bench at the game. I would love to be witness to a game where Eaves, Atajic and Hall get at least one goal each and we finish the game with all three points.

I have always thought that someone Bradshaw's size would be better off reinventing himself as a wide player rather than an out and out striker. He has the pace and the football ability. It is probably not advisable to experiment too much in this crucial match but I expect Bradshaw to come on in place of Atajic at some stage.

Well that's about it then - a massive game in front of a big crowd and we barely turned up. It looked like the wrong team selection - we improved immediately when Atajic came on and how Eaves can be preferred is a mystery. I was always prepared to give Eaves the benefit of the doubt but , for whatever reason, he simply does not want to play for us and he should be sent back to Bolton tonight. Bradshaw was the only striker who got into a decent position in the box all game and his goals to games ratio is surely better than any of these loanees. As for Jackson in terms of tactics and selection he simply looks out of his depth and it will be very disappointing if he is manager at start of next season.
All change please at the club with a view to building more professional and better (both on and off the field) in League 2 next season. Having thrown away our hard earned status in League 1 in a disastrous season we fans are owed something better. I suppose (like all of you) I will still continue my support next season but many of the less hardened supporters will not and the club only has itself to blame.

A range of good points there Ghmm. A disappointing game to watch. Town were on top at the start and as per usual failed to do anything with it, about as limp as a blob fish.

Bradshaw did more in his time on the pitch than others had done all game. Eaves was harshly booed as he had worked hard, but had not been effective so deserved change up front.

Two teams in similar positions but one team looked like footballers-able to control the ball and pass it along the ground. No guesses as to which team was able to do this.
