That would be my line up, but hasnt Gedo already gone back to Al-Ahly according to our Egyptian friends with Rabia potentially on the way as his replacement. Hope Quinny gets some decent playing time.
What's with all this 4-5-1 ? Chelsea play 4-2-3-1 and have very little width. I think we'll stick with the 3-5-2 with Koren and Sagbo up front.
If we were to go 352, I think both Boyd and Fryatt are more deserving of a starting place than Koren.
True enough point Chilton. Shagger Chezzy Bruce Davies Elmo Livermore Hudd Meyler Figgy Fryatt Graham
The reason I think he'll stick with Koren is purely because he scored twice in the last home game. He'll be confident.
Both goals were from Koren getting inside a good position in the box. Not only did he put them in he got in the place you want him to be to. I would also be surprised if Koren didnt start.
Absolutely agree that the line-up should be either 3-5-2 or 4-4-2. As to the actual personnel, there are clearly a number of options but the one thing that is clear to me is that our worst performances have been when entering a game with a fundamentally defensive mind set which 4-5-1 seems to imply.
If you want to nut anyone Saggy, make sure its Terry, but do it whilst Clattenberg is adjusting his Irish... One up top for us tomorrow 3-6-1
Chelsea do lack width, so I wouldn't be surprised if we opted for a 3-5-2 over a 4-5-1 in order to pack the middle of the park. Therefore I predict the team will be the following. McGregor Chester Davies Figueroa Elmo Livermore Meyler Huddlestone Boyd Sagbo Graham
I hate 1 up front. We always look **** with 1 up front. McGregor Chester Bruce Davies Elmo Livermore Huddlestone Quinn Figgy Sagbo Graham I wish Brady was fit for that left side because Figueroa's been our weak link lately.
