Is it just me or is that how I think becchio plays all the time. He did nothing different to what he normally does, the difference is he didn't have McCormack to put a goal on a plate for him

    You could say that again!

Any forward is ineffective without any service.

And as it happens, Becchio tends to be one of those forwards who still fashions some chances for himself unlike, say, Beckford or Somma.

I don't think colin will make the same mistake as the last 2 teams that played us did and match our formation. Unless it's one your players are used to, so far it's resulted in our best two performances yet.

It's a **** formation and will leave you easily exposed on the break, and the counter-attack is how we're increasingly playing this season anyway.

You'll get 60% possession. We'll get three points.

You need pace to play on the counter, Dudgeon and Elmo have startling amounts of energy and can easily keep up with anyone you've got available. Plus if we're not in the ascendancy they'll stay back and we'll play on the break. If only one of them goes forward at a time we've still got 4 defenders back and in Koren, Quinn, Aluko & Simpson more than enough threat going forward with pace.

The team is perfectly balanced in this system and every individual player is on form, plus we've got a number of options to switch between depending on the opposition without changing personnel. If we play like we did first half against Millwall (who in all fairness were shocking) and second half against Bolton then it'll be another game were we have 20+ shots, it just depends on how many we'll stick away.

I think our biggest weakness plays into Leeds biggest strength. We're not as good in physical encounters.

If we play like we did against Millwall and Bolton, yes.

We have pace out wide with White and Byram. White is probably the quickest player I can possibly think of but has nothing else to offer really. The pace isn't the issue but without McCormack we have no one to make the passes to exploit defences

Fair enough, I still believe our wing backs are as quick as they need to be and with the so far excellent back 3 you'll struggle to break on us and leave us short unless you really are extremely quick with both the end product and pace, basically like the Becchio goal against Wolves which of course involved McCormack. But then of course I'd think that!

Tonight depends on how Colin decides to deal with our formation, I expect us to be the attackers because we know what our team will be and that's how we're setup, so far 2 managers haven't been able to defend against it, Colin has obviously got a better chance than most though as he's seen it all before. Wish I wasn't bloody working!
