Okay. Been an exhausting few days but we can get back to the final run in, now, starting at Reading tomorrow. Can they keep living on sheer guts, determination and huge slices of luck? Maybe but the law of averages says probably not. They are a hard working team and still believe in their manager but ultimately, they are lacking in enough quality to keep it up imo. That said this will still be a very tough game indeed but I dearly hope Mon will go for it now. Mignolet Gardener, JOS, Bramble, Rose (if fit) or Colback Larsson, Sessegnon, Vaughan, Johnson Graham, Fletcher Westwood, McClean, Colback (if Rose fit), Wickham, NDiaye, Managne, Killa, Cuellar/Catts (if fit) Go for the game Martin. Youve got 2 good strikers to throw at these teams now and they will be raring to go. Graham must be absolutely bursting to play.
Id play Mig Gardner-O'Shea-Bramble-Rose (if possible) ...Seb-N'daiye.... Sess-Fletch-Aj ........Graham....
That should be the team Cest, and there's many occasions we have said/thought the time was right to go with two upfront. It's never happened as he doesn't set his team up to play that way and I can't see it changing either, unfortunately. I think the team tomorrow will be: Mignolet Gardner, JOS, Bramble, Rose Johnson, Larsson, N'Diaye, Vaughan, Sess Fletcher Or maybe McClean for Vaughan and then swap him with Sess
Larsson and Vaughan ahead of N'Diaye? We need steel in there cos them 2 are weak as piss mate and there's no size either
Maybe now he has his man, if will unleash both strikers mate. I don't think he trusted Wickham, Campbell, Ji or Saha to play 2 up front but Graham might change that? Against the top 4 he will still revert to 1, which is fine.
I hope he plays two up front, that would be my choice. I just don't think he will or wants too. I pray he proves me wrong.
Is Catts not due back yet?? Think he's been training a while now hasn't he?? Mig Gardner O'Shea Bramble Rose / Colback Sessegnon Cattermole / Vaughan N'Daiye Johnson Fletcher Graham Subs: Westwood Mangane Larsson Wickham Mclean & hopefully the 2 alternates above. If Pogrebnyak plays, MON might even considr Mangane at the back - he's got to look at him sometime.
Le Fondre will be a big factor in it for them. There's every chance he'll start based on his current form. I think I read that without him, they'd still be in the bottom 3. I hope MON goes with Graham and Fletch from the off, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's on the bench. I hope we don't see him coming on for Fletch, otherwise what was the point of buying him?
-------Mig-------- Gards- JOS -Titus -Colback Alf Seb---------------AJ Sess Fletcher---- Graham. Have that going forward and revert to a flat midfield when we havent got the ball
Reckon mon will resist cracking out his new toy until the 75th minute. Not sure about sess in cm Cest. With Alfie, maybe (as an interesting experiment), but not with fellow shrimp Vaughan. Would love to see a 442.
I'd start Graham straight away. Mignolet Gardner O'Shea Bramble Rose/Colback AJ Larsson Vaughan McClean Graham Fletcher Yes I'd start McClean for this one, I think he does ok against weaker teams and his ability to hit the target along with workrate will serve us well.
I wasn't overly struck by the graham signing, but now we have him MON must surely start him and fletcher upfront tomorrow. I won't hold my breath waiting for it to happen though.

We all want 2 up top but it won't happen, same team as last time round. Fondre on the bench for them, there manager pretty much said it before on football focus.
