What do you think the team will be/should be for the QPR game?

Rosenior will be giving Bruce the biggest headache.
Not a long enough pre season for Robertson and MaGuire.
    Figueroa still looks calamitous.

It's likely that he will start with three centre backs as he has done that often through the pre season. Although I don't believe Brady looks fit enough yet to start.

    Possible Team One

    ------------------McGregor

    ------------Chester---------Davies

    Elmohamady------------------------------------Rosenior

    Huddlestone-----Livermore

    Snodgrass---------------------------Ince

    -------------Long-----------------Jelavic

    Subs-

    Harper
    Bruce
    McShane
    Aluko
    Meyler
    Boyd
    Brady

    Possible Team Two

    ------------------McGregor

    ------------Chester---------Davies

    Elmohamady-----------------------Rosenior

    ----------------Huddlestone

    -----------Meyler-----Livermore

    ----------------Snodgrass

    -------------Long-------Jelavic

    Subs-

    Harper
    Bruce
    McShane
    Aluko
    Ince
    Boyd
    Brady

He's spent the entire preseason working on a 352, got the players used to that so even if it's not my preferred formation he'll start with that shape.

    I expect this starting team:

    --------------- McGregor
    ------- Chester - Bruce - Davies
    Elmo - Livermore - Huddlestone - Brady
    --------------- Snodgrass
    ------- Jelavic ------------- Long

We shouldn't see Rosenior at left wing back now, with Brady and Robertson fit. He should be used at either fullback position in a 442 or possibly right wing back as he did today if Elmo misses a game at all. I expect Brady to start on the left but wouldn't object to Robertson getting the nod.

Ince and Aluko have both been looking lively but think they'll both start the QPR game on the bench and be used as impact subs.

Based on our pre-seasons, I wouldn't want Figgy, Bruce, Brady or Aluko in our starting XI.

    ------------McGregor
    Rosie Chester Davies Robertson
    Elmo Livermore Huddlestone Snodgrass
    ----------Long Jelavic

If Brucey insists on going 3-5-2, I'd have...

    -------------McGregor
    -----Chester Davies McShane
    Elmo-----------------------Robertson
    --Livermore Huddlestone Meyler
    ------------Long Jelavic

1-2-2-2-2. That should fool them. :D

Mr Coat has got it. I'd put my coat on it being that line up (bar late injuries)

Surely it'll be 3-5-2, and surely he'll stick with Bruce. McShane didn't look much better yesterday and Bruce seems to have been the more regular starter.

To be honest I'd rather Maguire and just throw him in the deep end. Take him off and shift to 4-4-2 if he gets buggered. But he looked pretty composed yesterday.

I think we look better and more solid at the back when playing 442, and your 442 team is what I would go for.

    Harper
    Rosey Maguire McShane Robertson
    Ince Meyler Quinn Boyd
    Jelavic Aluko

I'd like to keep players fresh for the more important Lokeren game on the Thursday.

Hopefully we'll see the stronger 4-4-2 formation away from home.
