God know <laugh> plus millwall are a very strong side, so a midfiead of Kilkenny and morris wont be a good choice we would be completely dominated

I would put Mark Wilson in alongside Carey, and play Elliot in scuse's absence. This may mean breaking up the Pearson/Woolford partnership until Scuse returns. Thats why we have a squad

Taylor for starters needs to keep his place as he has been key to leading the line and actually wins the ball when played up to him so has played well recently. Playing stead against Leads was a mistake but can understand the logic as Leeds were quite physical.

Kilkenny had a good game against Leeds but agree he shouldnt be playing at the club. Would rather see Reid given a game. Pearson id like seeing dropped as he hasnt played well recently and at times i look back over a game and struggle to remember when he last touched the ball. Hopefully it wont be long until skuse is back.
I wouldnt mind seeing woolford played central as he does get forward into the box which would allow the likes of Anderson to play.

Its clear with skuse fit there are three spots in the team that need looking at. 2 centre defence and who plays along side skuse that needs sorting out

I do wonder now, when we had a poll on the best midfielder at the club, where Skuse came.

I suppose you don't miss something until its gone and the past few games have shown that we missed him. But even though I don't rate him as high as the others on this board. We must start the games with Elliott when Skuse is not fit.

The problem is when they are both fit, we all know that they can't play in the same team. But maybe Del can find a way of getting it to work because as much as we neaded Pearsons help last year he just ain't doing it for me at the moment. Maybe swap him and Woolford around and see I that works but Pearson goes to sleep to much at he moment.

Pearson looks better when skuse or Elliott is playing along side him, and to be fair he plays well in the big games. One things for sure though play Kilkenny and Pearson tomorrow night, we wont win, baldock has to start also, bollocks to this bringing him on when they're tired, what club leaves there best striker on the bench like that, could imagine Barca saying that with messi

'we all know that they can't play in the same team'

    You're all wrong then.

Adomah,Skuse, Elliot, Pearson is fine with a front 2.

Here's the important bit for those who don't understand.
You'd have 2, especially Elliot who can help defend. This also applies for any new future CH's coming in as well.

    Simple.

Just seen Del's and Kilkenny's interview on Player.

Looks like Kilkenny will start, just hope Elliot's available to cover the moaning Aussie's ass.
Otherwise we'll have Pearson, Woolford and Kilkenny across the middle. Not a tackle, head or challenge in any of them - bloody girls.
Kilkenny could be decent but in a different set up.

The useless Chris Woods will play tomorrow and is more than likely to score. Reckon I could against our lot.

Agree with Edwards, but if that whinging Aussie plays, I will not be a pleasant person.

I'm in a foul mood as it is today and the thought of that pointing moaning tosser playing is not calming me down.

    Thank **** I'm already on statins <grr>

Don't think your far away, can't see Edwards being recalled, so it may be Carey at full back, with Fontaine staying in, unless DM gets a loan signing in, nice to see you have a couple of girls in the side, don't have much option really.

'nice to see you have a couple of girls in the side'

1 or 2 'Girls' have a place in all teams. Balance.
Our problem is without Elliott and possibly Skuse, we're left with nothing but bloody girls in midfield.

'can't see Edwards being recalled, so it may be Carey at full back,' - Nor can I but you asked for my selection.
It's most likely Carey will play RB but I'd drop Fontaine whatever. He's shot - so bad I'd pick Tangle instead.
I really can't believe I'm saying pick Tangle he's utterly useless. Ocean liners turn quicker.
But that's how bad Fonts is currently playing.

Red when i managed, always loved 3-5-2, but you need two quick wide men, and a quality sweeper, like the look of your team, the two wide men look ok, but a little suspect in the back three, Wison may be alright as a sweeper, but not to sure about Carey & Fontaine.
But you can only pick whats available, so not a bad team.

I believe our most effective forward line would be Davies and Baldock - in the few minutes they played together against Blackburn, it looked like a potent combo but that would be a little unfair on Ryan Taylor who has been nothing short of magnificent so, maybe play Davies in mifdfield, IF, as someone reckoned, he is comfortable there - would definitely get stuck in, no doubt.

Also, how about starting Holloway in defence - his official squad designation is defender so why not, could be the making of him....

I am in 2 minds about NK, I think he could be our midfield creator but this would have to be along side a couple of grafters and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, Baldock and/or Davies need to be in the side so he can pick out their runs, it is pointless with Ryan & Steady up front because they do not possess the pace required...
