Think mine is slightly hopeful that certain players are fit enough if not replace with a youngster

    Green
    Isla Ned Caulker Yun
    Sandro Henry
    Phillips Taraabt (Straws clutched)
    Charlie Vargas

    McCarthy
    Rio
    Clint
    Zarate
    Furlong
    Doughty
    Zamora

    Phillips Sandro Henry Hoilett
    Charlie Vargas

Tubby, I assume has burnt too many bridges. If Zarate is back in favour, he could/should replace Toilet.
I am still thinking that Isla could do a job on the left (replacing Toilet), so that Furlong can play RB.

I really hope that Ramsey goes back to the set up he employed away at Sunderland.

    I'd go for this:

    ------------------------------Green------------------------------
    Isla------------------Onuoha--------Caulker-------------Yun
    ---------------------Henry-------------Sandro-----------------
    Phillips--------------------Vargas----------------------Hoilett
    ---------------------------Austin---------------------------------

That's the same as my team, Col. Apart from Vargas being behind Charlie!

Yep. I just think 4-2-3-1 away from home would be the way to go, with plenty of pace in behind Charlie.
Yours wouldn't come out much differently though, as Henry and Sandro are both holding midfielders, so it would be similar, only more open in the middle, as it was in the last two home games imo.

I hope he goes with 4 2 3 1 but not with Hoillet. Phillips, Adel or Krancjar, and Zarate the 3 for me.

    Green
    Isla Onuoha Hill Yun
    Phillips Henry Sandro Hoilett
    Zamora Austin

If we had Fer or Taarabt fit then I'd go with a number 10, but they aren't. Don't know what the story is with Vargas. Hoilett has no end product but he does have pace and a nuisance factor. Kranjcar and Traore are even worse then he is. Caulker has been bad but it wouldn't bother me if he was in ahead of Hill but I think that old partnership could do okay even if Palace are quick up front.

Palace will murder us if we play 4-4-2, Bolasie, Zaha and Puncheon don't need an invitation to attack with pace, we have to be able to compete in midfield, 4-2-3-1 is much more suitable for such a difficult match...

I agree, this is the best side out of those currently fit. If Caulker struggles with their pace up front we could be stuffed and will rely on another solid performance from Onuha.

You could be right regarding the formation Sooper but who do you play as the number 10? Vargas & Taarabt seem to be out for whatever reason and Fer is fukked.

I heard CR say they were all fit or thereabouts. I thought he was answering a ? about all except the long term injured Dunne, Ale and Fer.

Zarate has played as a No.10, if we're paying him 60k a week it's about time he started earning it...

Let's see oh yes we won at Sunderland so if we repeat that we will win at Palace

I am certain football doesn't work like that ... We need to cover flanks playing palace and kill the supply

If Sandro can't boss Luncheon then Henry will

    We can win this game

We dealt comfortably with there fast wide men at home, so just keep it tight again then hit them baby one more time!

Not keen on Hoillet; but the key for me is the tactics 4-4-2 is absolutely spot. All the players will know their jobs and will be able to deliver a good performance. It will enable Sandro to get in the box and score...like last week against Spurs. All that 2-3-1-2-1-3 crap just confuses the players. They are playing football not sitting an O level maths paper!

Phillips and Hoillet can take care of their wide men and cause trouble when we have the ball.
I think if we go into this game worrying about them, we won't do anything going forward, i. e. Harry tactics.
4 2 3 1 is attack minded, but it could easily turn into a 4 4 1 1 if we let them dictate.
Whatever happens, Charlie needs support and good crosses from the wings.
