I cannot see what Posh see in him. I hope Roland is laughing all the way to the bank.

Perhaps Posh have a management system that can nurture our top scorer????

I will miss him because he has some strengths (his pace and shooting) and he wears his heart on his sleeve but this move makes obvious sense for both clubs. Ferguson thinks he can teach Taylor to cross and we get the funds needed to buy Collins. At last a player who can lead the line and is a real goal threat. Now we need Bradshaw to stay and also sign another experienced striker (Jermaine Johnson has been mentioned on B and A) and we are on the way to challenging for promotion in League 2.

It begs the question what Jackson has been doing with Taylor over the years if Peterborough think they can improve him. Collins cost nothing BTW.

Yes KDS - I have just read reports there was no fee for Collins but we have taken over his contract so we will use the Taylor proceeds for his wages as surely Collins will now be the highest earner at the club.

Some time ago I heard that Taylor was the highest earner at the club, surprisingly.

Taylor drove a fairly expensive looking Mercedes-Benz, I'm sure Lenny will know the model as hes had a lift in it. #luckysoandso

Two lifts in fact. SLK - 2 year old used one on Autotrader for £22k. He did live with Skitty so will have saved a bit of cash up from there.

Certainly nowhere near as bad imo as KDS is making out - scores goals, works hard and bags of pace. Short of a few aspects - crossing and dribbling skills, mainly - but at 21 will keep on improving. 15 goals in 2 seasons at L1 in a team that can't attack isn't to be sniffed at, and I think he'll flourish in a top team where his energy can be utilised chasing defenders instead of covering back. Interest from other top L1 sides, so it's not like Posh are alone in their interest. Sad to see him go, but replaceable. Hopefully the fee is respectable.

Best of luck JT. I'll keep an eye out for you next season.

What people can forget is how young he still is he has been on our books and playing for so long that we think he is older than he is. Similar to Collins, 23 isn't he? Still got loads of time to develop.

Not improved in 3 seasons. Poor decision making and poor ball control. Cannot be faulted for his effort, though. I expect the same outcome with Posh as Langmead and Hibbert (although not injury wise).

Hibbo's injuries were the key to it all....he was good for us and was limited after that due solely to the injury.
I know some of his great friends and these things have had an effect on what was a really good guy....I think they said he's involved in training youngsters.

He's made substantial improvements in his goal return in the last three seasons. He had his excellent breakthrough season in L2 when he scored 6, struggled the next season at the same level and didn't score, played at L1 and rediscovered his form with 6 goals and then scored 9 last season, again at L1 level. He'll be 22 by the time the new season starts, most players don't peak until their late 20s so time is still on his side. Much like Bradshaw, I think he's a victim of breaking onto the scene so early and people's expectations getting high.
