I agree that other areas are more important and i would be more than happy with CW & MC up top. The reason for the thread is because PJ says he wants another striker and people are guessing it would be a target man.

I really think Wickham is on his way out so we do need another striker. I think PJ knows this and is planning for a future without him. His last statement about having no bids for him is probably his way of making sure we get the right amount for him.

I think Hulse would have been a good signing a few years ago when he could hold the ball up well and also had a decent scoring record. But he has fallen on the wayside recently. I mean he has flopped badly at QPR, I think he's only scored twice there.
