He is a young LB released by Newcastle. Is good defensively and very quick, just not been able to get enough game time at Newcastle. Would be in my opinion a good squad player as he can play CB as well. He's on a free, young and keen to play just the type for us I think.

Hope he is better than the last player we signed from Newcastle that was surplus to requirements - Ramage. No thanks to a Newcastle reject.
He was only released because of the strength of their defensive positions, not because he isn't any good.
