Takeover?

As a rule of thumb, I never believe anything The Fail publishes, but they last night posted a story suggesting Russian investors are looking to buy in to the club. I won't get too excited till I see Messi walking in to the club declaring it his dream to have always played for charlton athletic and the move definitely not about money.

Bit of a flying article to be honest. Sounds like gossip inflated to fill a page. After Zaheel, I'll not raise my hopes especially, but as usual, a small part of me is dreaming of signings we've all written off as too expensive this summer.

 

Not sure I'd trust any article that couldn't even get the name of the town in Cyprus right...

 

I don't believe it, but even if its true we couldn't spend much more than we did last year due to financial fair play.
