Glad to hear we are not the only club with muppet radio phone ins, just listen to Canary call after our matches to hear the opinions of fools! Most of whom would not be able to find Carrow Road without a sat nav!
I think stilljarroldcanary was addressing the "worried" posters on here, who were without exception male. You ladies tend to keep things much more in perspective!
Morning guys , Swansea fan here .If you want to put things into perspective look at our start last year . I can tell you now, you will be bemoaning refs decisions right left and centre ( as they don't seem to like the new guys ), wondering when it's your turn to have a bit of luck, thinking where the heck are your next points coming from etc. But don't worry your team is well fit for purpose your passing and movement are excellent and I bet your manager will never make the same mistake again. You'll be safe no worries! All the best for the season with the obligatory exceptions.
Cheers best wishes to Swansea too. I'm confident we will be OK and learn from our mistakes. We have too much quality to end up in the bottom 3.
Ladies who go to football are deemed honorary chaps. I am rather confused by the word guy which seems to have become gender neutral. When did that happen?
Why make enemies when you can make friends? Re. your signature: I think Marcus would say "We are in the Premier League, but we're not yet Premier League". Same goes for us.
I will have to say this very quietly so as not to blow your gasket: the use of guys for both sexes is an Americanism.
Markus was very very positive. I wouldn't want a bolt of lightening to take me out so will leave signature as is
Indeed. And I guess if we want to be fully PC, we should refer to all of us as "dolls"! PS I have absolutely no wish or intention to start a thread on this By the way fran, how on earth do you achieve a Rep Power of 15? I never get beyond 2!
Team that has covered the most distance so far on the pitch = Saints FC 195.18 miles - men on a mission, or headless chickens? You choose.
I would go for MOAM from choice with maybe a dash of HC. I wonder whether the Wigan performance was partly down to us not expect as much from the opposition. We did appear to play with a hell of a lot less fire.
Definitely not headless chickens. They were purposeful against ManU...the headless bit usually happens when they stand still in the box.
