Not use to pace of the game. His league is a lot slower and they have more space. Hence why he gave them a lot of space.

Two or three matches and he'll be all right. Anyone noticed we got a little taste of his shooting yesterday?

No it's not you I personally had a flash back to Chimbonda when I saw him defend, but he does look more comfortable on the ball.

He was poor but he needs time to adapt his game, different style of play / tempo etc.

Let's give the guy a couple of games at least before casting aspersions on his quality.

You don't get in the AC Milan team if you are Pony.

Give him a couple of games and he'll be fine. By the end of the season we'll be singing his name and begging Sparky to exercise the buy clause in our deal. They know their left backs at Milan - they had Maldini, just about the best ever for 20 years. Don't think anybody can really live up to that legacy, but suspect he'll be good enough for the Rs.

Luther Blissett, so bad he's actually a legend to this day in Italy. Milan had him confused with John Barnes.

I think he would prefer to play midfield and attack, rather than defend. Hopefully he can.
