Taiwo and Diakite

Weve all forgotten that these 2 will now sign on a permanent deal.

Now thats setting us up for some more quality players in the summer if they are as good as these 2.

 

Are they both set in stone to join? I think Diakite will for sure but unless terms have been pre-agreed with Taiwo I'd expect some far bigger clubs to be in for him. Immense today it must be said.

 

Delighted that we now have the opportunity to make these signings permanent. Quality players. Hope Hughes can convince Taarabt to stay.

 

He was my second vote for motm, an absolute rock at the back.

I really hope we keep him, and add a couple more like him, at the expense of (to name a couple) SWP and Barton.

 

They'll both sign, no doubt. Taiwo was superb today, with Diakite we would have walked it!

 

Hughes has brought in some really quality signings. And he did the same while he was at City, so Mancini should be standing him a drink or two after the match

 

MH will not sign Taiwo... he is simply not good enough though the was ok today. he will sign someone better or stay with Traore.

Traore was immense when he came on. Everyone on here has said he could play left mid. that burst and cross was quality.

 

Taiwo will sign. He's already said so on the offish. Dependant on us staying up

 

Central Midfield pair of Diakite and Faurlin sounds very tasty for next season.

 

The positives about staying up go on and on. These 2 signing are very high on the list.

Think its important to mention Ali today. It might also mean we keep him.

 

ask me at the begining of the season... if you know anything about football you will understand that his positional sense is poor... he was to blame for the first goal.. he let the Man C player score on his wrong side.

 

I'm not saying he's perfect at all but he's a far better left-back than Traore, hence being picked ahead of him. His positioning isn't great but he's powerful, quick, brave, has a great left foot and potential to improve further. We'd be mad not to sign him.

 

fair comment but Traore has pace more than Taiwo and can defend though his defensive heading is questionable. i will still be amazed if MH signs TT unless on a free. we shall see

Both were picked-up on similar terms. Loan till the end of the season and commitment to buy if we stay up.

 

The new guy Rigg will have come in with a file full of similar prospects.....this is going to be fun.
