Hate to say it but u will never get ur marv back the way u know him. With the injuries he has had he will struggle to play back to back games again and watching him warm up looks like hes moving differently to how he did before. The biggest issue tonight was players just didnt look to know what they were meant to be doing. 4-4-2 worked at the start of the season and we should stick to it and pick players to fit that system. We are a shadow of the team that lined up against Cardiff when we beat them. Yes we have a couple of injuries from who played against cardiff but if we play like we did against them i think we would have won tonight. How many times tonight did wilson have the ball, took two steps forward saw there was no one in front to pass to so the ball had to go side ways. Only Taylor and Davies tried to make space tonight to be passed to. Think it showed tonight 12k supporters there tonight and that was only because of groupon selling adult tickets at £10. SL will have a hard decision of keeping faith and hoping the manager can turn things around or replace the manaver soon as cant imagine he will want fan numbers to get as low as they did under millen. Next match i think will be the game which will tell us if del has a future. For del to come out every game and say that he is fed up saying the same thing about the defence the board must look at it and think is the players he brought in not good enough or are they just not listening to the manager which if he has lost the dressing room his days would be numbered
del is completely clueless and has lost the plot bigtime, we had accomplished wingers on the bench yet he puts a target man on left midfield, and a fullback at centre midfield, what the actual ****?? do other teams have managers who do idiotic and completely moronic things like that? or is it only a product of BCFC. He puts our two best players, the few out of our **** team who can do something (baldock. adomah) on the bench! He also is favouring players, pearson, foster, fontaine who are all complete dogs bollox I wouldn't sack him though, because the next manager will come in and be left with our ultimately crock of **** team, and will fail also.

I've had a few hours to reflect on yesterdays so called performance.............and it's not got any better. Dels had a year to know how he wants to play, the players he wanted, positions needed to be filled and a year to get used to the championship. Based on that performance alone, he does not fill me with confidence to think; 1. We will stay in this divison. 2. that he knows how to set out a team. 3. That he knows how he wants his team to play. 4. The players he has, knowing their best positions.....................Reminds me of someone.......How's Keef doing these days? lol Del, that was Dire yesterday, you need to sort it quickly, as although I was never your biggest fan, there were a lot of fans that wanted and thought you were up to the job....... WARNING..A few more games like that and you will lose all confidence in the fans, the players and SL and your days will be numbered.
I remenber GJ had the same problems in his LAST season with us........these excuses will only be tolerated for so long.

I agree 100% with Shiny's OP. When I saw the team I was almost speechless. Beagrie on Sky commented that he thought Del had done the right thing in trying to tighten things up. In my book Beagrie is a complete **** so anything he agrees with has got to be wrong! I just feel that Del has totally lost the plot and his team selection is becoming more and more desperate. What bothers me most is the way he never keeps the same team going two games in a row. I KNOW he has been unlucky with injuries but given the choice he seems to choose to shuffle 4 players around when he could get away with one. It's no wonder the players don't know where they are supposed to be running as he changes their roles all the time. And don't get me started on M Wilson - Del wanted him from the start and said something like " a player of his quality has to be worth looking at" when we were all crying out for a CB not a RB. Well I haven't seen any quality from the bloke myself - he is incredibly slow, gets caught out of position and can't pass. Foster and Morris have only confirmed the worst fears voiced about the perils of bringing players in from the SPL. Sadly all those who said that anyone could get a team 3rd in that league cuz there were only 2 real teams up there are now looking to be right. I can't see that changing managers is an option at least until Xmas but if we are marooned at the bottom then - which isn't that unlikely - then SL will have yet another big headache thanks to Sextone's going away present.
Im still behind McInnes, but wiz when Johnson was in charge before the bust ups he said that it was a good bunch of lads, went as far as saying you would be happy if they were dating your daughters.
Remember though Wiz, GJ earned the right to do what he thought was right for the team....HE GOT US TO THE PLAYOFFS. IMO, Dels earned nothing yet.
not making excuses for Delboy, but when i saw the team i was dismayed, but after listening to his interview after the game i was a little bit more understanding (only a little!) Macmanus ill b4 game shouldnt of played but had too, carey injured, Wilson sick, Fonts injured, Marv still not 100% fit (just filling the bench-strange but true) Davies sick at half time (star man)Macmanus sick at half time! We all said b4 the season started we needed RB x1 CB x2 , AND a CREATIVE midfielder, we are still waiting especially the latter!!! I too cannot see where the next point is coming from, and by then we may well be bottom, can del and the boys turn around again though, thats my worry, if they are up to it again. We are losing anyway, so why doesnt del stick to one team and give them a run, to get a little understanding (injuries allowing). On the case of injuries, with all the team of experts on the fitness team , are they doing something drastically wrong for us to be having so many injuries last year and this??
