I still think he has something to offer but he does appear to be blighted by low confidence so whether we can really afford to carry him is open to debate. Would think that if we do sign Hoilett and this other Korean chappy Shaun would fall well down the pecking order.
I always thoughtn SWP would end up at WHU or Leicester. They both liked spending money on mediocre players.
Hard to see how he will feature now. Equally hard to see why anyone would be willing to pick up his wages. Loan deal almost certainly.
Northie Mis-quote you should be in the press mate.. At present SWP will struggle to get on the bench plus the rumour of new players still to come in midfield, hmm maybe time for him to go while we can get a price for him.
Keep keep keep and grow some faith i am hoping he becomes a big asset for us. I also think the times I have watched him he was good
Wouldnât surprise me we cant just bring in player after player without offloading anyone im sure heâs on pretty decent wages as well. I donât think he has bad as some of you are making out.
Hope he goes, awful players and dropping him coinciding with us starting to win. ID rather the club pay mackie 20k than SWP 70k to sit on the bench, especially as Mackie is the better player.
If he stays, let's agree on here what we expect from him next season. He's never convinced me as an attacking player or with the ball at his feet, from way before he came to us. As a chasing and harrying midfielder he did ok at times last year. At the moment, before we've finished buying, I don't think he'll be in too many staRting line ups.
We have better at this, already in the squad. Didn't show much at all last year, because of his age his price will be dropping quickly, time for him to go and make way for other.
While we're trying to get all our business done early, I'm sure other clubs won't so we'll probably have to wait at least another month before we know who is leaving. Would love to get SWP off our roster.
