This is not a rumour. Having read that we are in for Ayala, and Dalglish is after Dyer.
So, as my heading suggests, would you swap Dyer for Ayala?
Pro's: Dyer only has a year left on his contract, and could go for free next year.
Con's: Dyer was one of our stars last season. Yes he did drift in and out. Yes he could have scored more goals. But he did us proud. Ayala hasn't playe many games for Liverpool (it may have been their style he didn't fit in with). We would get him on a three year contract.
IMO, if Dyer is holding out let him go. See how he feels when playing for Liverpool reserves.

    What are your thoughts/Comments?

No chance. I appreciate the idea could possibly work, but I'd say unless Liverpool are definitely in for Dyer then this would be a bad move. If they WERE in for him, I'd be looking at Ayala, plus another 2 or 3 million for Dyer, even if he is in the last year of his contract.

Not for me. If it had to be done, though, I'd want at least £1.5 million on top.

I just don't see the point in selling him. Huw and co have been repeatedly vindicated with their policy of "sign a contract, or shut up and walk for free when it's up", although granted this season might see me eating those words if the GK issue is a problem all season, or if we're blatantly missing a 6´0" cockney Jamaican box-to-box midfielder. I appreciate it's not good practice to let the contracts run down, but Huw has explained why that was the case... and was vindicated further by the clubs ability to bring in Borini on loan, who helped us secure promotion.

If we got offered a stupid amount, fine. Anything less than 5mil though should be dismissed out of hand.

I see what you're saying but i'm mostly amazed at your last comment: "IMO, if Dyer is holding out let him go. See how he feels when playing for Liverpool reserves."

Dyer has stated on numerous times his desire to play with the Swans, even calling out other players for thinking the grass is greener elsewhere. There's no real suggestion he's going anywhere and you're already putting him down as though he's gone!

simples. No chance. We will need Dyer this season if we have any chance of staying in th PL. Already in Pre season he has been looking sharp. we have to keep him. If we get Ayala great but not at the expense of Dyer

I know. I can sort of understand something being put onto GC if it was a club matter that was of a wider interest eg. Joey Barton being let go last week, Tevez's antics. They are examples of wider themes eg. the use of social networking sites within football, and the issue of player power respectively. But when it's just some Swansea fans discussing a possible transfer, why is it on here?

Not that I have anything against Swansea.

Talking to a mate of mine while down the liberty on Saturday who is a lifelong Liverpool fan and his feelings on it were dalglish is only signing proven prem players and does not feel that dyer would fit that bill and I hope that kenny feels the same and leaves our Nathan alone and we sign ayala simples. :)
