Very worried about this game because the officials from last game probably knocked the stuffing out of the confidence we've been building with there poor display of fairness The big problem with refs and linesman is there human .Who knows what causes them to short circuit , bad night with the wife , good memory of teams giving them a hard time , could be a million things .Teams , players and fans are relegated to comparing calls from games gone past to justify .The officials fly off and don't really have a harsh enough penalty on themselves so they don't have to stay focused for the next game .Rant over ...2 - 1 Swans.

Mike Oliver is the designated referee for the Watford game.

Let's hope he doesn't cry off and we end up with another incompetent nincompoop.....

"good memory of teams giving them a hard time".

Officials are indeed human, and can be expected to react negatively, and with bias,as and when they feel fit.

Brian Clough used to fine his players for arguing with officials.
His firmly held belief was that ref's don't ever change their minds, and that they have good memories.

Only a fool would get in the face of a referee, and expect an easy ride,or a decision to go his way,in the future.

Sadly, football is infested with fools. Mostly of the overpaid variety.

Goals against could be worth a point at the end of the day/season.

Win all the remaining games and other teams results become irrelevant.

Off topic, but I hope your mods don't mind.
How is that fan of yours who was very depressed a while ago? I hope he is getting better. Whilst we all want our teams to win on Monday, there are things more important than football.
