with 10 games to go, 4 points adrift but on form and with vital games against chesterfield, exeter and even bury (they are on such bad form, they could be dragged into it) its a possiblilty. however with 6 of the top 8 still to play it would be tough and our away form stinks. so - will we stay up?
Can't see it but I still hope. We are relying on other teams having bad runs and us being at our best for the rest of the season. Virtually every game is against a team fighting for survival or promotion.
On form? That's a bit tenuous! Decent home record of late but away games are a give away. Only 2 points away since October!
jose - I added this to the Col U match thread, you have 4 games that you could have any 'real' hopes of winning (Chesterfield, Exeter, Bury & Oldham) but three of them are away games and as Finchy says, the away form is dreadful. 4-6 points from this teams at best is how I would call it but you never know. All the other games I can't see you getting any points I am sorry to say.
I vote No for the simple reason twaddock needs to be more proactive in changing things when they aren't either working or good enough AND we need to improve enormously away from home and i just don't see it despite a more solid defensive performance at the weekend. Having said that, we are about 7th in the league in terms of scoring goals so you never know but i doubt it.
there might be if we do it again at exeter on tuesday, but the odds on that are stacked against us we havent won in devon for ages but you never know.come on you blues
We look to have a very difficult run in plus we lose Hayes. Still, I didn't expect to beat Bury let alone smash in 4 goals. Can we get a striker on loan from Arsenal ?
