    Don't believe all the conspiracy bullshit to be honest. Was there ever any proof that Carroll's injury was anything to do with him leaving? No. As far as im aware he was injured for months after he signed for Liverpool. Even if it was true why would he feign injury (or be forced to) from October?

    I was thinking more along the lines of the club not playing him to keep him
    Fresh for whoevers in for him. Where Ashley is concerned I wouldnt be surprised if a deal had already been thrashed out.

    Why would anyone do that? It wouldn't improve his price, and unless the player has a ****ty on and won't play (Tiote? **** off) there's no reason not to play him while he is our player.
