Surprise at half time

Susan Whelan reported in the Mercury today "There will be a lot of special entertainment before kick-off and another surprise event at half-time, which will bring a smile to everyone's faces.'

Wonder what this might be. Kasabian playing 'Fire' live, Ken Dodd cracking jokes, or the new striker signing on the dotted line on the centre spot.

Hope its not Ken Dodd. The kick off for the second half would be delayed for 3 hours until we could get him off the pitch.

I think Kasabian playing is a possibility

 

Kasabian playing would be sick.

Although please, don't play Fire.

I would much rather they play Empire, Club Foot or Underdog.

 

I hope its Maynard but I cant see the club unveiling a player like that

 

It won't be a new signing, I doubt the club would announce a signing like that. Maybe Kasabian but didn't the Birch get an honourary degree recently, he might awarded that on the pitch.

 

Kasabian has a lot more 'believability' than a new signing so I think they will be playing.

Maybe they will be supported by Jersey Budd or do a cover of When Your Smiling?

 

Jersey Budd is singing live pre-match I think.

I know the Spain team listened to Kasabian alot during the world cup last year and quite a few of the Madrid team played in the world cup for Spain. Ramos, Albiol, Alonso, Casilias to name a few

 

My brother just texted me to say that Radio 1 have been going bonkers about their new album, maybe the could play a few songs from that?

 

The half time surprise is going to be Tunchev is going to be subbed on.

If it is Kasabian, they are more than likely to play fire, mainly due to the fact that every city fan would know it.

Nicky Maynard is in the Bristol squad tommorow so he wont be signing for us yet or being announced tommorow
