Went surfing for the first time yesterday. These Aussies love it. Personally, I cant see what all the fuss is about , its as easy as falling off a log. On the up side , I am now qualified to use the words " sweet " , " dude " , " gnarly ", and " rad " in general conversation. Hang ten Bro`s.
I tried it at Byron Bay about 15 years ago, it is ****ing difficult to keep stand up for more than about 3 seconds, **** sport.
I drove out to byron to do the lessons..and then they took us back to where I live `cause the surf at byron wasnt good...apparently ; I couldve just went out myself and fallen in the water a lot, saving time and money. It was a laugh I thought but I wont be in any major hurry to get back in. My personal best was about 6 seconds , eat my surf dude
