US police arrest âworld No. 1 distributor of child abuse imagesâ

A TWISTED fiend described by police as the number ONE distributor of child abuse images worldwide has been arrested at his home in Florida.

Sick John Shearen was arrested on his 51st birthday by cops as he sat in his basement - allegedly downloading yet more vile videos.

Staggeringly he was said by cops top have been found in possession of ONE MILLION sick images.

Special Agent Jeff Duncan said: "He is the No. 1 person that can distribute child pornography throughout the world - and heâs been doing it."

Agents said that Shearen was only identified last month while they were monitoring child pornography websites.

And shockingly police revealed that when they entered his home he was sat at his computer downloading MORE images.

In addition to the pornography, cops also found children's underwear - which he informed agents he wears.

Agent Duncan said: 'We were able to seize anywhere from 500,000 to one million images and videos.

They were stored on several computers and external hard drives to actually being transferred from the computers to separate DVDs, and he has a DVD collection of child pornography."

Agents with the FDLE say he has admitted his crimes - but they are examining whether children had been in his home.

Agent Duncan said: "One of our concerns is we located several items, outerwear of juvenile girls, including bathing suits, in the residence.

"Our concern is, number one, making sure we don't have any child victims in this area."

Shearen has been charged with 20 counts each of distribution and possession of child pornography, but authorities believe that is the "tip of the iceberg".

Investigators said that Shearen had downloaded images of children aged between six to 12 years old.

One of Shearen's neighbours said he was incredibly secretive.

Robby Pinder: "He never let anyone in his house.

"I liked him as a human being. He seemed like he was alright, but you don't know somebody until you get to know them."

Christina Rodriguez, who lives in the complex, said: "I have a four year old and he likes to run around and play around, and just the thought of a guy being that dangerous."
