I support Sunderland regardless of who is in charge.

Some on here won't be happy so f..k it's only 4 games in. Why do some folk wish to destroy the things they love? baffled.

    Support the lads and management.

    Rant over.

We all do support the club but not necessarily the personnel involved though. Why do people like you continually try to make this if you dont support Bruce you dont support Sunderland argument?

If Bruce were successful do you think there would be so much unrest? If we had not lost so many home games in the last 9 months do you think his managerial position would be under discussion?

The clubs fortunes dictate the mood of fans mate not the other way around.

Stop being so judgemental on other peoples equally valid points of view, especially on something that is a mutual topic of shared passion and unquestioned devotion.

    Rant over too.

    Billy/Cestria

Certain sections of our support will never accept him and want him out. If he wins the next few games he'll not get any plaudits or praise from them, they'll remain quiet until we hit a poor run again and then they'll raise their heads again.
Then there's the kneejerkers who want him out now but if we hit a run of wins will forget everything that's gone wrong and all will be rosy again. Then we'll hit a poor run and the good part is forgotten and they'll want him out again.
Basically he's in a no-win situation (no pun intended) and if he realises that then maybe he'll know it's time to go, I honestly don't think he's going to turn the crowd around permanently. Added to the pot is the comments he's making which aren't helping and alienating the fans even more that the desire is more for him to fail than succeed. Really sad as if he succeeds then it means the club succeeds but some people would rather the bad run went on further just to get rid of him.

Mate, I really like him as a person.

I hope he proves me wrong. To me though towards the end of last season, the Fulham game at home sticks in mind, he appeared to have totally lost the dressing room.

We were 2-0 down & he takes off an attacker & brings on a centre half.

I had my 9 yo lad with me that day & even a kid that age questioned the decision.

He persists with the 1 up front policy, even at home.

    Playing people out of posistion.

The man is far to stubborn which tbh was Reidy's downfall.

Now just to make things absolutely clear to you & all the others who think I have to blindly follow & go along with whatever goes on at the club.

I will always support SAFC wherever they may end up. That does not mean I have to support everyone who works at the club.

    Is that now clear?

    Billy get a grip.

Anyone reading this board must think we're a bunch of school kids, whinging and whining like little girls about a wobbly start to the season.
Time we all grew a pair and stood firmly behind the lads, club, manager, Chairman and Owner and showed what we're made of...this is our club...we've grown up with it like our fathers did...it means more to us than simply winning or losing and it always will.
Lets cut the mamby pamby, complaining, get to the games, sing your hearts out and give the club what it deserves...whether we agree with what's going on or not...the club is bigger than that.

Billy, why do you make such mindless and abusive posts like the first one above when you can make such well balanced and eloquent posts like the second one above. I understand that you are passionate about Sunderland just as many others are and I'm sure that many supporters on this board agree with you, I certainly do, so can I ask to see more of the eloquent Billy.
