I know we'll still be the same number of points from safety regardless of the result but I would much prefer a draw. Please not a Reading win

Got home from the office early after our Christmas party - watching on my $12/mth extra specialty channel Sportsnet World - certainly a lot less stressful as a neutral watching this compared to us!

Ironic that Fletcher because he was not eligable to play when the game was first postponed.

I'm watching a decent sopcast stream, Reading look very very poor. Legs is showing his true colours in this game too, i've lost track of the number of times he's miscontrolled/hoofed it.

Right now it looks as if Reading will be keeping us company down there in the depths. As demonstrated in the Arsenal game, Reading can be explosive with their goal scoring. On Saturday would love to see us holding a 2-0 lead over Fulham at this stage in the game.

Although it gives us the chance to move off the bottom which could give the lads a boost.

Agree though that 2 points to rivals is better than 3 but our only chance to get out of this is psychological lifts and confidence.

In a way it doesn't really change anything Sunderland winning, there will still be an 8 point gap and half a dozen goals to make up

Said all season that Reading were not good enough to stay up. Funny a few weeks back all their fans were saying how good Gorkss and Legs were and now they are ###t. Gorkss has been dropped for the last 2/3 games.
Anyway i don't enjoy any team struggle (unless its Chelsea) it's just a case of them rather than us. We just need to start winning.

Always thought sunderland have a good enough squad and manager to stay out of trouble. We were lucky to catch them on a bad run.

Maybe Ellers is right and there is a worse team than us!
We still couldn't beat them though<ok>

Agree mate, if we had only had a decent striker and CB we would not be in this mess. I should have listened to all those 'MH out' posts because it's his 'crapness' as a manager that has put us where we are.
