My mates and I are looking to set up a Sunday League team for next year to play 'mens' football!

I was just wondering if anyone had set up a team before or even played and could offer any advice at all?

    Cheers :)

Write to your local league or county and they will provide you with all the info you need.
You will need to get your application to join a league in as soon as possible for next season and aquire a pitch to use the local council can let you know of availability if you dont have a private pitch to use. Then nominate a secretary treasurer chairman to deal with the admin and off you go.
You will probably have to put forward an entry fee with your application of about £50.00 which will be returned if your team is not elected and have to pay an annual subscription of abouit £50.00 a season.
Public liability insurance is another out lay that you will have to pay in most leagues.
    Good luck.
