It should be a good day's racing at Carlisle today with decent jumping ground, good field sizes (apart from the 2 listed races - huh?) and competitive heats. The feature event, the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase, hasn't had a double-digit field size in the last 16 years so today's field of 4 is nothing out of the ordinary. There have been some really good winners of this down the years including Monet's Garden, Tidal Bay and Many Clouds, and if one of this years contenders is going to emulate one of those then it looks like Ben Pauling's Handstands.
