With the Mullins hotpots not firing this week it wouldn't suprise me if Klassical Dream got turned over by Coeur Sublime. I think 7/2 is a fair price based on his DR run and yard in good form

Not fancy Petit Mouchoir at 20/1 to confirm superiority then...

    agree with that
I also think Battleoverdoyen will take some beating in the race before.

Seldom out of the money for connections. Often runs well without winning. With conditions to suit today and on a winnable mark this looks worth an each way bet.

A no bet day for me as saving myself for new years eve and day, but the mares race at Doncaster looks an interesting race. I wouldn't be surprised if la bague au roi gets beat today..doesn't seem to be in quite the same form at present as last season.

I would probably go for Lady Buttons. Surely reebs will be on here to advertise her chances today? :emoticon-0100-smile

She won this last year, but the opposition then was nowhere near as classy as today's. I've always thought she was a better chaser than hurdler, and I've said as much to Phil Kirby's missus, hoping that word gets back <laugh> But they don't travel their horses far and for a small (but growing) stable I would imagine that picking up valuable place money with a chance of winning at a local track is a no brainer as the young folks say. From a betting prospective, 7 runners is a bummer, as I'd expect her to be in the first three. But listen, (as AOB famously says) I love this horse :emoticon-0152-heart and will follow her over any cliff she wishes to jump from. Annoyingly, I have to go visit two of my other kids at midday, so won't get to watch the race. Hang on - I'm having an epiphany moment - if I take the ipod with me, I can watch on Hill's TV, hmmmm sounds like a plan!
Enjoy the day chaps, and keep the faith Pops - the adorable Lady B always gives her all :emoticon-0152-heart:emoticon-0152-heart:emoticon-0152-heart

    Kelso 12:15 Birch Vale

Unlucky in 2 of last 3 runs when departing in the lead in the final furlongs. Now with cheekpieces added worth another chance in the hope BirchVale puts in a clear round. Could be difficult to catch under Brian Hughes at a price.

A ton of money for Sharjah this morning has forced his price as low as 7/2 with both Klassical Dream and Coeur Sublime on the drift. I’m hoping for a strong showing from Coeur Sublime <ok>

    Doncaster 1:00 Cuban Sun

Stable has had 5 hurdlers in the money from 8 runs this season and this useful ex flat handicapper seems to have the potential to make his presence felt in a race like this. Adam Wedge a good jockey booking. Worth an each way bet

    Limerick 1.45 Foreign Secretary

Wouldn't be surprised if this one causes an big upset given the fact Foreign Secretary accelerates very well in these testing conditions. 33/1 on offer worth an each way bet

I have to agree with Ruby's comments there - put a bit water on the track after racing yesterday and you wouldn't have all these withdrawals today

    Doncaster 2.45 Slanelough

I think Slanelough will finally get a first win over fences today if putting in a clear round. Has been knocking on the door in last 2 runs.
