Wouldn't be surprised if Capture The Drama runs well for each way purposes in the 1.00 at Thurles. On a career low mark. Has earned minor money in 4th and 3rd on last 2 runs at Thurles. Jockey D. J. O'Keeffe amongst the winners recently with 2 big priced horses. Obviously this can't be a confident choice (its a long time I tipped a winner here ) but hopefully Capture The Drama gets his own way in front and can see it Out in testing conditions.
Frontal Assault must break his duck today surely. He is rightly favourite, his form is the best on offer to my eyes and at 5/2 I will be having a good bet on him to win the 3.00 today. The other novice hurdle is a nice race at 2.00. The Mullins fave has been well supported and should prove a tough but to crack, plenty of useful opposition in there to measure her level of superiority too. One to take note of if you're not getting involved. I would have been keen on Sayce Gold but with the weight allowances I'm giving her a swerve today. All the best today folks
Martello Sky 12:45 She has the important course form, a nice way of racing and I think she has a favourites chance today. She has form that closely ties in with Allavina but importantly for me she comes from a yard in decent form and the race should suit her more. I backed her this morning and happy she is being supported, she is nicely related too, so hopefully she can take this before going on for further improvement.
1:15 Juge Et Parti & Evas Diva Quite honestly I was wanting to back Perfect Moment in this as I had doubts about most of the others at the fore of the market. That horse is a non runner and it’s left an interesting angle for me. JEP has been very disappointing but he has the back form and is quite an in and out performer. He is down to a mark he can win from and this race is weak. As such I have to have him on side. the other one I like at a price is the DJ horse on stable debut. The angle here is the move from Phil Middleton to a trainer I rate quite highly. This horse is another with hood back form and is running off a low handicap mark. He has the course form and it’s interesting that they are going back to the course for the first run for new trainer. both double figures which appeal
Yes! Frontal Assault wins as I felt he might. Nice to have the one bet one win on a salubrious Sunday. Leeds to kick Manchester Red to the curb now in less than an hour to cap it all off Nice winners there NassauBoard, get ordering on that peking duck there and enjoy a nice bottle of midleton rare for yourself tonight.
