As with any manager, they need time to build. It cannot be done in under 2 years unless you get very lucky. I don't think an overhaul is required. We just need an upgrade on 3 players IMO. Carroll - we need a better striker and I rather we didn't have a target man. We play better with a 'Torres' type striker. Ball on the deck, good movement and intelligence. Kuyt - need more pace on the wings and someone who can beat a man and get close to the box. Adam - brought in to fill the 'Alonso' role but has struggled. I think he will benefit when Lucas comes back because I think a partnership was starting to form and he found form! But a player like Martinez/Banega would be ideal. The key is to bring in starters, and not squad players. Last summer, Kenny brought in Carroll, Henderson, Downing, Adam which I believe, were signings who could slot into the first team but they seem nothing more than squad players. And to be fair, they have improved the squad because now we look to the bench and we have options. We need to get lucky with our signings and we need more Bellamy's and Enrique's - players who don't look out of place. If we can do that, then I don't think we need any more than 3 players.

WHat about Aquilani - there is a player who likes the quick short passing game and in the few games I saw him play it didn't seem as though others playesr in the team were on the same wavelength.
Never mind what you made in selling players - Dalglish has spent just over 114m since January 2011. It's just over a year since then and you want strong investment? STOP SPENDING MONEY! Focus on the academy.
