No one is dumb enough to pay his wages, no way will his agent allow him to sign for anyone for a pay cut.

Those vampires will talk him out of it.

My club chucked £60m at Everton for a guy that calls himself the pigeon. I’d imagine £15m for Maguire and matching his £200k a week wages really isn’t beyond our stupidity.

Maddison definitely going to Newcastle if Munse's twitter links and GIFs in the last 9 months are anything to go by

Liverpool going in for young talent such as Khéphren Thuram, while Toon are going for the boring full English in Maddison. I just had an egg sandwich, even that was more satisfying.

We still have to operate within the FFP restrictions that you dirty ****s put in place, for now. Got some catching up to do, but the ball is rolling and we're ahead of schedule.

FWIW - If we only spend £75m, I'll eat everybody's hats.

It's a way of making sure an asterisk against the 1st trophy that comes isn't validated.

For the record I'll take any success thanks. If other fans want to call it bought and put an asterisk next to it then let them, it's part of the deal. Even if we only played our youth team we'd still be told we bought success if it came so just run with it.

I don't think they will anyway but is there actually anything to stop a Saudi team just buying Lascelles and Fraser for £50m each? Genuinely no idea if anything in the regulations would stop that. I don't want them to do it but interested in the word can't.

Wants to embody the traditions, no trophies for the foreseeable then.
