I have become a ‘season member’ of my local ‘men’s team’ after my daughter registered to play for one of the many kids teams they have. They are at home this weekend so will pop to watch that. £100 for her league registration and that gives me free entry to all home games(normally £3), they have floodlights and a little stand but no idea what level they play. Can have a pint and watch, so a bonus.
Good for you mate. I just love watching any footie. The paint pot to the lower league clubs is chance to get your youth system out, mixed in with experienced pros and as was the case today any new signings. It's also made me realise watching it on tv, how nice it would be to get along to these little games, only about 960 went along tonight, probably family members of any youth players, like you with your daughter and the odd football nut, which every club has.
