I think this would depend on our league position. If he's awesome, helps us back into the champions league & Real still can't promise anything then You'd have to say we'd be in a good position but it's a year away....
http://www.itv.com/sport/football/article/2012-08-28/carroll-set-for-ac-milan-loan-move-reports/ I don't think I've ever heard itv doing rumours lol. Can't see this
Wenger obviously doing it to save face. Just like when he gets all his mates in the media to say the likes of Nasri, Clichy, Fabregas, Van Persie and Song all left for money when it was blatantly obvious they left because Arsenal have **** all ambition bar squeezing into the top 4 each year.
So that's what AC in AC Milan stands for... the Italians love him so much they named a team after him.
Apparently Walcott has rejected contract extension so back to being linked to Us & City with City "more likely" Smith of the Times.
Unless he gets a dose of humility I can't see us offering enough a week to satisfy his view of his abilities.
Shame Comolli got fired. As Theo's young and english, we'd get you to pay about 25 million for him, if he were still with you. I fear Rodgers and Co are more sensible.
Its crazy how Wenger brings these players on and yet they all just seem determined to jump ship at the first opportunity. Good on him in a way for not bowing to their mental wage demands but must be frustrating being a Gooner at the moment especially when the Chavs are chucking Romans billions around like confetti again.
Theo would be a perfect player in away matches in my opinion, how good would it be to have someone with pace dangerous on the counter attack? We haven't had someone like that in a long time. BUT, would he exacerbate our lack of creativity in home matches where there won't be a lot of space in behind for him to expose?
Really unsure on Walcott, can be brilliant at times, but can also disappear. Certainly better than Downing though
Well he's rejected wages of £75k pw at Arsenal so do we really want to be paying £15m plus and putting him on £80k plus?
