<laugh>He might come from South Tyrol.

They don't look typically Italian there. In fact many Italians still don't see them as Italian. Janick Sinner had to make a big thing about how he felt Italian, something he wouldn't have dreamt of doing if he'd come from say Milan or Bologna.

All a lot of history, war and speaking German there, and being a bit geographically apart.

Smells a bit like Clarke - fantastic player but not being played in his best position
I've had United fans telling me that he works really hard tracking back, and he might, but no way is Amad Diallo defensively strong enough to be a wing back

Big influx of Scots in the 1930s when the steelworks opened there accounts for it. Though some are 2nd and 3rd generation they acquired a Scottish twang from their parents/grandparents and friends and families.

Aylesham in Kent has local people with strong northern accents due to mining industry.

Don’t think I’d pay that much for him but I do love premier league money

He can get stuffed for a start - not even close!

Everton have explored a deal for Sunderland starlet Chris Rigg and are prepared to play the waiting game for one of England’s most sought-after wonderkids, TEAMtalk understands.
They run the risk then of rival clubs swooping but Everton are not willing to contemplate meeting Rigg’s £40million asking price this summer.
Everton put Rigg in the £15million bracket and that means both clubs are miles apart in terms of their valuation for a player who still has two years left on his contract with Sunderland.

I lived in Corby for a fair few years, now about 40 mins away - works got one office there and one down in London. Odd place but a community very much like the north east. Well out of places in the East Midlands

I put Branthwaite in the £15m bracket so straight swap if they're interested.

Sites like this, Football Insider, Football League World are absolute ****e. Poorly written, no direct sources or quotes, vague opinion dressed up as fact used to pad out ****e culled from other sites, often culling something from another site that's been culled from there, which was culled from somewhere else to begin with. All for clicks. And it's from ****e like this stupid rumours like the ELF one gets spread by unscrupulous agents.

Shame about Guiu, was looking forward to seeing him. Some good names for us playing today, still some work to do but some solid depth in a few areas

Hard to think of a worse manager for a player like Rigg to have to play for.
