I think most fans of most clubs do. Just a decent club and great set of fans. It’s a disgrace that that **** has been allowed to destroy them. Long way back from where they are.
Even more so when you realize that we could easily have an owner who tempts signings with a crate of Rich Energy or one who dangles competitive insurance premiums.
My soft spot started from the sticker books as a kid and because I was obsessed with owls Think my parents were convinced I had autism.
Jesus Christ what could have been man. Makes you believe in fate. That last minute kick in the bollocks at Wembley probably saved the club from disaster. The world moves in mysterious ways. If we hadn’t had Fulwell 73 devise the Netflix series, we’d probably have been passed around a succession of chancers like a Benwell lass at a house party. We need to be grateful to Fulwell ‘73,
The Coventry fans thought we'd robbed them of their chance of promotion ... ... they predicted we'd go down with the lowest points ever. They're currently scrambling to bring in players Wrexham are turning their noses up at. Funny how quickly things can change in football.
no matter what people think of the new owners here...they only have to look around the leagues to see just where we could have ended and we were damn close to the limit. it is ridiculous that we are looking at well over 100M spent just to try and stay in the league and we probably are not finished...while it has been good for the agents and television companies along with some mental wages for players it is slowly decaying into a rich and poor game, some traditional and well supported clubs could be lost and that is just simply too sad.
Let Coventry go my mate. They are nothing to us now. And their stadium looks like a dropped Lego set. The PM did right to get the place bombed in WW2
Ndoye to Forest is a superb signing mind, I can see from here how well he compliments what they have. Top, top signing for them.
Add reading, Charlton, Swindon, Morecombe Cardiff to that list. There's probably a lot more with owners that should never have never been let within a country mile of clubs
Great to see Charlton on way back. Big bond with them since a few of their lads took us all on a mad one after the 4-4. Great night, great lads.
It's not an obsession mate, I genuinely find them a bit of harmless amusement. I always pick a club to put a curse on and they're it this season ... ... I cursed Luton last time and look what happened there They seriously believe their 'form' from the second half of last season will carry on to the whole of this season and they'll finish twop two. I'm finding it funny because they'll be very lucky to scrape the playoffs ... ... it's not because it's Coventry, just a bit of fun when we're not playing.
The Cardiff fans i know are so despondent, relegated to league 1, no faith in the owner to even try and get them promoted. One lad been a fan for 50 years, says hes going next year because he always has, not because he thinks they will do anything, but he knows no different than going to the match.
The lads i know have no faith in anything, yet they will still go, in hope rather than expectation. They are expecting horrendous low crowds
