    I know we usually do business quietly but the fact we’ve hardly been linked to a CB after going for Lucumi and Diakite is positive imo

    I have to say ‘the lure of playing European football’ puzzles me slightly. Is turning out against an unpronounceable Scandinavian team really such a pull when the Premier League is probably better?

    It may only be a few games and knocked out in the first phase.

    I keep seeing that players want to play European football but coming to play in the PL can be way beyond playing in Europe in terms of quality. 2 games each season against Man City, Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, Aston Villa etc certainly beats playing Qarabag, Servette or Bodo Glimt.

    I'd be surprised if Abdullahi got a Championship loan. Maybe towards the bottom of the division.

    League One feels more likely.

    He just needs to be playing. He's got the physicality to adapt to the Premier League later. For now he just needs to be playing and scoring.
