With both SAFC + nufc looking for a striker in the summer it could make for an interesting pre season battle in the transfer market with both clubs having potential big wads to splash around on a player, could make for some interesting viewing. SAFC looking for someome to complement Gyan and those lot looking for someone, anyone to imitate the scouse girly bashing gypsy king. Just wondering about potential targets for both clubs, any ideas ? Marlon King for nufc anyone ?

prob have to go abroad to get value for money after the prices paid for strikers in jan established players here pav, cole bendtner, crouch, west ham will have a few if they go down i think bruce will go for a strker that gives us a bit hight upfront as we lack that a bit ,depends what happens with welbeck and how well cambell comes back to what type of striker he thinks he needs maybe welbeck is his main target with a large bid to tempt fergie

Bruce has spoke about in the past that we plan a couple of transfers in advance so he will know the majority of the players already he will be after in the summer.

The first thing has to be to tie up the loan signings (Elmo, Onuoha and Muntari) then speak to Lyon about Mensah and see if we can come to some sort of arrangement for the bloke.

Nextly we need to ship on the rest and the remainder of the deadwood - Nosworthy, M'Voto, Kilgallon, McCartney and I would also look to get rid of Jack Colback

Then see what is happening with Henderson and Man United 20m they say, I like the lad but I will drive him myself for that if we could get a swap for Welbeck and a couple of million even better

once this is done we can go and find some quality players

we need a proper left back and I keep going on but Taye Taiwo would of been the perfect option out of contract in the summer rekon a few bigger clubs will be after him
    a replacement for Bent
if we get Welbeck we will have 4 good strikers if not we need another striker
if Henderson goes we need another midfielder N'Zogbia for me.

Then not forgetting we have the loan system to beef the squad up abit

Gyan, Campbell and possibly Wellbeck make three but where's the fourth Poolie, unless you are assuming one big striker signing in the summer.

assuming wolves get relegated i would'nt mind kevin doyle as a 3rd/4th striker. should get him for around 3/4 million
