Off Topic Summer Plans

It's not booked yet, but we were thinking of Antalya, scenery looks amazing there. Initially we were considering Oul Deniz, but we heard that's a bit chavvy and over commercialised, so we're avoiding there.

 

Antalya is lovely. A bit more up market. There's lots of Russians there but apart from that you'll really enjoy it.

 

Plans?

Well, we're not going anywhere.

As many of you know we live on a motorhome and have been wandering around and the the other week were camping at Finchale Abbey when we got a phone call. In short we were offered a house to rent, so we turned the Gin Palace around and headed to North Wales. Had one look at the place and we took it.

It's got a ten year assured rent, four bedrooms, sea views, no neighbours (the drumkits - plural - come out) and for next to sod all and it's right on the coast next to Porth Iago. So we're moving in and installing our own still in the outhouse.

And then, finally, get a dentist.

 

Would have thought supporting the toon was enough like pulling teeth

 

We have a big summer ahead. Two of my nieces are getting married, so it will be party time.





Oh and just to clarify (for the benefit of JPF and his mackem friends ) that is two separate weddings, not a strange family ritual.

Well, not unless JPF shows up uninvited.

 

We're going to Santorini in the morning.

I just wish we'd held on till Sunday to avoid the piss takes

 

We have a place in Spain so it's Tapas and Rioja for me.

 

Well the toon are relegated and the under 15 team I run have just been relegated too so as they say these things come in threes cancel the euros parties lol. A holiday somewhere, anywhere nice needed.

 

Can Blyth Spartans ****ing up the promotion play-offs count as the third please, so that I can at least pretend I am looking forward to the Euros?

We've a caravan in Northumberland which we spend most weekends at, its our little piece of heaven....ahhhh.

Off to Espana in August, to a place in the north which we've been to about 12 times over the years. Glorious.

 

Thought that little wifey and I should go somewhere nice for our summer break so we decided to do exactly that and are renting an apartment in Nice for our summer break.

Other than that it will be about pre season, summer sales and buys, cricket and the Euro's with the occasional weekend going to the likes of the Borders or similar.
