Summer clearout confirmed?

I'm probably going to get stick for this, but Arshavin should be kept. He can be a matchwinner on his day, he's a useful player to have in the squad.

 

wouldnt mind that but would like to see him given a chance in the attacking midfield position as congested as we are in that position as we have better alternatives on the wings.

 

I've been saying for ages we should play him as a CAM, the trouble now is that Rosicky has become insanely good again, so AA would have to be a back-up, leaving Ramsey looking rather pointless (suppose we could sell him)

 

naah wouldnt sell ramsey. Remember what people were saying about rosicky up until recently...and now look! IMO people underestimate the long term impact of his injury and forget what he was like prior. Give him a chance and he'll come good (btw i know i say this about lot of them but i dont have as much conviction about the rest as i do about ramsey)

 

Oh, prior to injury, Ramsey was miles ahead of Wilshere just a shame that he's been ****e for a few months now.

Yes, but he's turned it around. When ramsey starts playing well again, then i may show a little more faith in him.

I'm still very leary of letting some of these players go.
The over 30's Arshavin, Squillachi, Almunia, no issue let em go.
The never haves Chamackh, Park, maybe, probably.
but Vela, Denilson and Bendtner are all still 23 and under. That is very young to be writing players off. There is still a very good chance they are going to improve.
Can't believe people are writing Ramsey off at 20.

 

would like to keep vela but denilson and bendtner i would let go off. People are (already have) disagreed but i feel ramsey is going to be a class player.

 

I do like Arshavin and think he's quality but unless he recaptures his old form, it becomes a huge risk. If we have (on the wings) the Pod coming in, add Gervinho, OXO, Walcott and potentially Miyachi and Campbell who seem the real deal, that could be a problem....

 

canary in peace. have read all the posts on this thread and am surprised at no mention of lansbury. have you all written him off, and wenger too, for that matter.

 

I like Lansbury and have no idea why he's not playing. The few times he played he looked good. Really really strange if he's being let go without being given a proper run. Considering players like Denilson and Bendtner to name a few were given loads of chances, why hasn't he?

 

.....he's currently at hammers on loan but not thriving on big sams brand of football.

 

Any suprise that he's not thriving with them? I would loan him out to either Swansea or Norwich. They play good football!
